How this service works
We publish a free guide and a phone number. When you call, our call-tracking line connects you to an independent local restoration company, and we may be paid if the call qualifies. Calling costs you nothing.
Gainesville Water Damage Advice is a free referral and information service, not a contractor. Calls go through our call-tracking line to independent local restoration companies, and we may be paid when a call qualifies. We do not do the work and do not set prices or availability.
Who picks up
This is a referral line. A Hall County-area restoration company answers, not us.
You make the call
Free. The number belongs to our call-tracking line.
We route it
To an independent restoration company that serves the Gainesville area and is taking calls.
They hear what happened
They say whether they can come out and what a written estimate would include.
It is your choice
Decline, ask questions, or phone someone else. Nothing is agreed until you agree.
What we are, and are not
- A free information and referral site. Not a restoration company, contractor, plumber, HVAC company, insurer or insurance adviser.
- We do not perform, oversee or employ anyone for the work.
- We are not connected with the city, Hall County, any utility or any insurer.
- We claim no contractor licence, insurance or local office of our own, and display no reviews or badges.
How we get paid
Using the site and calling are free. A restoration company or a call network may pay us when a call qualifies. The company that answers sets its own prices.
What we can't promise
- That someone answers at a certain hour, or arrives by a certain time.
- That a company holds a particular licence or charges a particular price. Ask for their Georgia contractor licence number and check it with the state licensing board.
- That your insurer will pay. Your policy decides that.
Recording
The call-tracking service or the company that answers may record or log calls. Ask at the start of the call if you want to know.
